The User Manager allows an administrator to set permissions for every user of the website. This means categories can be setup to stop users from gaining access to the administration section of the website and sections / web pages of the live website.
Users can be allowed to have access to elements of every module or access to just one or two etc. Within each module, there is functionality to Add/Edit and Delete certain elements of website. This obviously could be a concern therefore users can be given permission to Add or Edit the website but not allowed to Delete or Publish content.
An administrator can also set permissions to stop users from gaining access to web pages of the website. If a user does not have permission to view a web page, they must ‘login’ to the website with their own unique username and password controlled by the administrator of the site.
Each users’ details can be edited by the administrator of the site, including downloading their details into an Excel ® spreadsheet.
